Titania grumbles

The Wanton Green is an exciting book, due for publication in the autumn of 2011. Gathering essays from 20, mostly British, pagans about their relationships with the world around them, The Wanton Green will offer a different perspective on western technological approaches to the Earth....

Over the next few weeks, extracts from those chapters will appear here to provoke,t ease ands et some discussions going

but really we should start with Titania herself, who gave us that wonderful title:

The fold stands empty in the drowned field,
And crows are fatted with the murrion flock;
The nine men's morris is fill'd up with mud,
And the quaint mazes in the wanton green
For lack of tread are undistinguishable:

Titania’s speech when arguing with Oberon, Midsummer Night’s Dream, William Shakespeare
